Drama Llama

So, I’m still shocked that there is so much interpersonal drama as an adult. There is a lot of passive aggressive behavior going on out there. I’m not sure why. We can all play nicely and get along, right?

Sadly, this is not the case. Grownups have tantrums all the time. Grownups are competitive and cranky and don’t want to share. It is now becoming clear to me where the kids learned all this. It must be from the “adults.”

Even if you aren’t a big fan of being randomly kind or generous give it a try with your closer friends. Offer to babysit or cook without a payback. Offer to return library books. Take someone out to dinner. Just do something nice because you are in the position to do it and not because you might get a payback in the future.

Being nice might not get rid of the drama llama but it might calm her down a bit to know that someone cares!
